VR-N76 Ecosystem Update:
Advanced iOS Hub & RoIP Stability.

Strengthening professional communication reliability with unified DTMF modulation and expanded microphone gain for complex industrial environments.

Vero Telecom is pleased to announce the latest Beta Firmware Update for the VR-N76 professional series. This update addresses critical feedback from our global distributors, focusing on seamless integration with modern mobile ecosystems and mission-critical network reliability.

Engineering Highlights

1. Mobile Ecosystem & RoIP Resilience

The update provides a fundamental fix for iOS HFP (Hands-Free Profile) connectivity, ensuring that business users can maintain stable links without device reboots. Additionally, Network Sync now displays real-time bound channel names, critical for dispatchers managing multiple RoIP groups.

2. Precision Modulation & Mic Gain

To meet the demands of high-noise industrial sites, we have significantly expanded the Microphone Gain range. Combined with unified DTMF modulation, this ensures signal clarity whether originating from the handheld or the integrated phone application.

Full Feature Log:

  • Visual Command: Simultaneous display of Channel Name and Frequency on the primary monitor.
  • Operational Safety: New audible TOT (Time-Out Timer) prompt 5 seconds before cut-off.
  • Data Integrity: Resolved KISS transmission bugs for reliable APRS/Packet data.
  • Bandwidth Agility: Direct Bandwidth and Narrowband (N) indicators added to the hardware menu.
